Back again riding around the Delta, this time cruising along with my boyfriend on his Harley Davidson Street Glide.
The route was pretty simple- head out on 84 through Sunol, breakfast in Livermore, continue up Vasco Road through the windmills, over the Antioch bridge, and onto highway 160 to Sacramento.
We stopped after crossing a draw bridge to take a break, and I was able to photograph a group of Harley’s cruising around too!
We have family in Sacramento that we visit a few times a year, and have visited on our motorcycles before through the major highways, but this is probably going to be our go-to route from now on. The majority of the way is a scenic 2 way road, little traffic, and enjoyable on motorcycles. I haven’t ridden through the Delta during the summer, so that might be an area that will get backed up with traffic, especially on popular summer weekends.
We were on our motorcycles by 10:30am and back home by 6pm. In total, about 220 miles.
